Stephen Brunton is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Winnsboro, SC, USA. Throughout his career, Dr Brunton has received many awards including the Munzer Family Award (1997) for excellence in local and national education and research, the Barbara Harris Memorial Award from the California Academy of Family Physicians (1991) for educational excellence, the John P McGovern Award from the American Medical Writers Association (1992), and the Merit Award from the American Academy of Family Physicians (1991). Over the years, Dr Brunton has published numerous articles, book chapters, and monographs on family medicine and related clinical topics.
